In a city outside this region, one ruler of this region appointed his daughter to the title of “God’s Wife” during a peaceful takeover from Rudamun. An inscription claims that it is forever forbidden for boats of inhabitants of this region to pass beyond Semna. One ruler of this region modelled his titulary on a foreign ruler’s inscribed at Jebel Barkal. Boundary stelai in this region erected by Thutmose I and III depict a Ram-headed Amun-Re. After he had appointed his daughter Amenirdis at (*) Thebes, Kashta, whose name means “of this region”, was succeeded by his son, whose Victory Stele depicts kings of Lower Egypt bringing tribute.
