The manuscript tradition for this biblical book varies between a reading of (*) "mysterion" and of "martyrion", meaning testimony, for its second section. This book may have been written down by Sosthenes, and this book’s author is thankful that they only baptised two men, before noting that they also baptised another household and could not remember if they had baptised anybody else. Possible scribal interpolations in this book include a passage asserting that women should be silent in churches. The seventh chapter of this book claims that it is better to remain unmarried, like the author does. Chapter 13 verse 4 of this book states that “Love is patient, love is kind.
