A museum about refugees from this ethnic group, the Documentation Centre for Displacement, Expulsion and Reconciliation, controversially opened in June 2021 after thirteen years of planning. Orphans of this ethnic group abandoned during one conflict were dubbed “wolf children.” Soldiers from one country killed members of this ethnic group in Strahov Stadium and the Ústí massacre. This ethnic group was stripped of citizenship and property along with (*) Hungarians in that country by the Beneš decrees.
