Several hundred ceremonial jars that originated in this region were found at a site whose abundance of pottery sherds led it to be named the “Mother of Pots.” This region's supposed wealth is represented by a fictional chief who boils milk in one text. The longest hieroglyphic inscription depicts a battle in this region, which is the most northerly battle depicted at Medinet Habu.
