This figure sits on a rock and reaches an arm up towards a mermaid-like woman in a 58-foot-tall concrete statue completed in 2021 in Azhimala. This figure is depicted in a 112-foot-tall steel sculpture that is the world’s largest bust. This figure typically comprises the right, male half of androgynous depictions in ardhanari form. A three-faced version of this figure is the most-visited sculpture in the Elephanta Caves. In many sculptures, this figure’s hair contains a moon and/or has a woman (10[1])climbing down it.
