These objects are laid in a row atop a sand dune in central Iran for the piece Evocation by Shirin Abedinirad. In 2019, the Palazzo Strozzi displayed a work consisting of a black pipe and one of these objects by Olafur Eliasson, who has created “concentric” and “deep” versions of them.
